Project 1 - Timeline and diagram analysis

Group of 12 of us under Mr. Koh Jing Hao's conducted the first outcome of the project of an A3 sized illustrative chronology poster of Modern Malaysian Architecture that interprets the Modern Malaysian Architectural language and architecture influences to the architectural development of Malaysia in particular (South West of Kuala Lumpur).
Group of 4 of us (PHAN GUANG LEI, POH JIA JOU, OLIVIA JONG and ME) were doing the selected building from the South West Kuala Lumpur.
Week 1-5 Analyzing chronology of selected buildings
REFLECTION
Analyze and discuss the relationship of the Modern Architecture of Malaysia with social, cultural, environmental and intellectual context of Malaysian architecture post Merdeka/Independence and produce few diagrammatic analysis illustratively and in text, a critical chronology analysis interpretation of Modern Malaysian architecture buildings at South East Kuala Lumpur.
Project 2 - Chronology report of selected building
Group of 4 of us (PAUL WONG, PHAN GUANG LEI, POH JIA JOU, OLIVIA JONG) conducted a research and architectural analysis on a selected building, the building chosen is a modern buildings around the Klang Valley, and definitely subject to the agreement of the lecturer. The report should be written documenting the findings of the analysis and support the information using photos, sketches and diagrams as evidence.
Week 6-11 Chronology report of selected building
REFLECTION
Increase understanding on the principle, ideas and contributing factors of Modern Architecture for the building. Able to analyse and identify specific architectural features of Modern Architecture. Able to document architectural heritage in the form of writings, descriptive diagrams and photography.
